Many companies would like to encourage employees to share company news and materials on their private social media channels . For some companies it would be real sales support (e.g. in the case of B2B companies employing specialists), and for others it would be e.g. strengthening their image on the labor market. Either way, employers really care about this. Unfortunately, an active employee in social media is still only a dream for many PR,
HR or marketing departments. We Phone Number Data asked Internet users what could encourage them to help the companies they work for. In a study commissioned by a research agency, we asked the question: "Imagine that your boss asks you to share content about the company on your private Facebook or LinkedIn profile. What would convince you the most? We asked them to check up to three items with which they agreed. Sharing content about the company on a private profile on Facebook or Linkedin.
It turned out that financial motivation was the strongest. But - note - practically on an equal footing (also over 30% of responses) is the recognition that the content is interesting and loyalty to one's company. Application? If you want employees to promote the company through their activity on social channels, work on the content and relationships with people. The materials you ask to be shared must be interesting and, for example, help build the employee's personal brand.
